Maybe if we fill this blog with expats yammering about not hearing the stuff the people back home do, maybe then we'll get some kind of expat BBC licence that allows us to listen to any radio whatsoever.
That'd be nice but in these days of licensing and global franchises, it just doesn't seem to be in fashion.

At my work, we have purchased a license to use Associated Press stories in our television and radio newscasts. However, since we started licensing it, the age of the Internet stream arrived and so now we are in breach if we simply stream the entire show, with the AP news. We have to manually switch at the point of the news and we just fill in with music until the cast is done. The cost is about double to cover Internet broadcast as well.
