The entire Britnet system will be down tomorrow for a few hours to carry out the following

Upgrade the phpBB software and apply 22 patches to bring it current.
Upgrade wsnlinks to make the directory system current
Insert the wsnlinks database schema into the phpBB database
Configure wsnlinks to the use the phpBB username database.

What this means...

You will only have one username and password for both parts of the sites. It will also mean that you will lose any username that you used on the directory section. It may also mean you are credited for links you did not submit until I can join the parts of the database together.

So, please be aware the system will be down sometime tomorrow morning for a few hours.

Update

Seems I already had the latest phpBB software but was missing a few security patches. It should now be up to date. Please post if there are any new problems.

The wsnlinks database has been moved to the phpBB database schema. This is ready for the next phase which will be to install the new wsnlinks software and integrate the databases.

Update

wsnlinks has been updated to the latest software. The only thing left ot do is move wsnlinks over to the phpBB database.

This means the username you use for Britnet forums will now be the one used to login to the directory...once the conversion is done.
