Finally a president tells the truth about the Government lying and still thinks he should not step down lol. He's either very stupid or very brave lol.

Could this be the beginning of the end to the EU. After all what figures have they been giving to them.

It was the PM and under their constiturion, the Prez. cannot dissolve parliament. It takes a no confidence vote.
The EU spotted the discrepancies and told them to go and re-figure, when they applied to convert to the euro
As shocking and improbable as it may seem, politicians being 'economical with the truth' is not uncommon.

The irony here is that the Hungarian PM is being attacked because he admitted it. Moreover, there is some suspicion that he authorized the 'leak' of the audio recording as a device to force his party and others to face up to what he perceives as economic realities.

One of those realities was, I suspect, that people knew very well what the truth was but were in denial. Now they can't so easily deny the situation, they are pissed.

Draw your own parallels with the US, Uk, Iraq, the so called war on terror....
