This is just sick. A spate of mutilated stingrays have been found on Australian beaches.

If it is related to Irwin's death, it undermines so much of the work he did. These people would presumably consider themselves fans, yet they so clearly do not understand anything about anything natural they cannot possibly have listened to him.......

yup, words are failing me.

perhaps rather than "avenging his death", it is nutters who want to prove that they are "better" than he was -that they can vanquish what he succumbed to..... ???

sick.
That is awful and so sad cry
I have to agree with you here monster. I bet Steve Irwin would be the first to say stop it.
I sometimes fail to see any beauty in the human race when we are not distroying each other for many a abscure reason we are distroying the innocent creatures around us for hte same obscure reasons .

those animals where as innocent in the death of steve irwin as the victims of 9/11 where innocent of any wrong against the muslim nation .

No, he would be the first to say, "oh, crikey".

If he'd died in a plane crash, would these people have rioted at airports and set fire to planes?

Just sick. Typical of humanity's attitude towards animals.
