Hi. I know there must be someone out there who has a list of the times that the matches are being played, if anyone knows could they let me know, also what channel.
Thanks guys grin
I could do with that too, have you checked the sports forum? (where this post will end up!) I haven't yet, but you've just reminded me, thanks. smile
This is on the Sports forum actually, in a couple of threads.

The best source for what games are on TV over here is SoccerTV.com . Here is a link to their International page which has World Cup matches http//www.soccertv.com/intl.cfm

The page lists all international games by date so you will have to hunt for England games on the dates you know they are playing.

The first England game is not available live in the US that I can make out. It is tape delayed and to be broadcast at 3.30 pm on Sunday afternoon which is disappointing.

Alas BVAMIN.

It does say on that site that the England game is on live. however... check the ESPN site itself or check the TV listings for Sun morning and you will see it is not. ABC/ESPN(the same organisation).. for some reason have decided that the 'game of the day' shall be shown on ABC at 330pm and not live. This means we miss the England Sweden game. also Ireland Cameroon.. is no longer live.
Sorry to be the bearer of the bad news. evil evil

Yeah according to todays rocky mountain newspaper - only Univision is showing the England game live at 330a MDT - otherwise its taped to show later in the day - avoiding all email/websites/phones/tv until that point - Paul - up the Engerland!!

The England vs Sweden game is NOT live (being shown tape delayed at 3.30 that afternoon (EST)), but all other England games will be.

Check out the link

Mad Dog in the Fog, (British pub in San Fran) are showing the game at 7.15 in the morning, not live, but a little closer, and hopefully a bit of atmosphere, maybe other British or Irish pubs will be showing earlier
matt

The England v Sweden game is LIVE on Univision

Chris
What's Univision? A pub closed circuit network?
Univision is a spanish language channel.. after looking thru there website and translating using my pigeon Spanish. It is indeed showing the England game live... tho it is not available in all areas.. seems to be mainly a West Coast and North East that have the abillity to get it.

I guess i'll just be reading the text commentry on BBC and talksport as there is no internet voice commentary either.

CMON England!!!
Eng-rrr-land! Before I left the country last week...I bought an official England footie shirt as a momento. Cost $45 and worth every penny. I've not seen a single Californian wearing one yet!
