When a cocktail recipe says takes 6 leaves of lemon verbena and muddle in a glass, do they just mean put the leaves in a glass and poke them about a bit?

Crush, usually more than one ingredient is muddled, say sugar and lemon zest.

Thanks Ls, off to make the apperitif . Muddle, I was wondering if I was supposed to rapid fire questions to it. Shall use a little crushed ice with the leaves then throw in the chunks. many thanks. grin
