Seems like another case of US paranoia. I don't know, see what you make of it.
F*****g appalling. Who decides who looks like a terrorist anyway? Aresholes.
I do think people are getting paranoiad and its going to end up with some poor sods being hurt and at worse killed.

The guys that purchased the cell phones, calls of Terrorists etc etc being quoted by the press and a local cop, that appears not to be able to his home work rang around the country.

Ummmm funny how its gone all quiet cuz they are being charged with fraud now, which if you took race out of it, was what was going on in the first place. Did hear as a parting shot that they could be laudering money. Wish they would actually do some proper investigating before they make such claims.
As hubby said, you can't hand down discretion, these people aren't paid enough. We pay the people who protect the country a pittance. You pay for rubbish, you get rubbish. Besides if nobody travels they know where you are twisted
This is nothing more than outright racism. It is also totally counterproductive. All it will achieve is the alienation of law abiding people who oppose radical islam and terrorism.
A tiny minority will go over to the otherside, others will simply disengage and do nothing helpful or harmful. But in the world at large, particularly the muslim world - the wests credibility in terms of promoting democracy, tolerance and the rule of law, will be shredded.

Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend just how moronic the Bush administration is.
The article implies that he's a British passport holder. But it doesn't say he is. How he looks is irrelevant. If he has a British passport then it's Racism (with a capital R). Can't help but feel that there must be more than his appearance as a reason to turn him back, though. if he has an Asian passport of some sort and is not entitled to a visa waiver then they were right, regardless of the nationalities and passports of the rest of his family, nasty though it may seem.
The Israelis are the most successful at stopping trouble on their planes and they don't use racial profiles, they use terrorist behaviour profiles. This man ran security at Ben Gurion Int. Airport

wonder if he can put in a claim or something??? From what I read monster he is british and holds a british passport. I do know that people that have problems entering before, have had to go to the US Embassey in the UK to get the OK to travel.
