No, I didn't like it at all. I found it boring in parts, and it really is so removed from the original comics that the creator has his name taken off the credits.
My husband fell asleep in the cinema.

I really liked it and so did the missus, and she is notoriously difficult to please if you know what I mean..

Alan Moore really is a miserable bastard, not only did he have his name removed from the credits but he is in a legal wrangle to have his name removed from the book upon which the movie is based.
Personally i think the movie failed to bring to life its source material , but then if people become a little more politically aware after seeing this then all the better for them.
In my view it just missed the power of the original, and washed over the comics many subtleties with crass satire and "Action" sequences. But then i'm difficult to please and its got to be better than Snakes on a Plane - don't know what thats about... grin

Err, first coffee situation here, but I'll hazard a guess, snakes on a plane!

I said similar today when I saw it advertised on a Netflix envelope but I wasn't being serious.
Saw a funny thread on imdb.com suggesting all movies should be named to demonstrate exactly what the film is about.
"Titanic" became "Fat Chick on a Boat".

Of course I'm serious about seeing Snakes On a Plane. Why wouldn't I be?

I liked it, I was surprised at how moved I was at seeing the Houses of Parliament blown up.
Now I think on it, lots of well done scenes and political commentary, but perhaps the underlying plot was sketchy and disjointed.

Watched it last night and thought it was really good.
The satire was exaggerated but perhaps a bit too close to home also.
If nothing else, I would hope people remember that quote that said something like" People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people."

Hopefully people will take notice of the fact that the Governments are elected by the people, for the people and act accordingly - but then this is just science fiction...

Y'mean like LoEG? Alan Moore writes fantastic comics... which then get turned into complete bags o' poop for the screen.
/just like From Hell
