Hi. I just got back to the USA after being in the UK for 3 weeks applying for my sons Student Visa. I have to tell you, after applying for it in the mail and it getting refused and dealing with the INS for 2 years it was enough already, but joy of joys we went to the US Embassy with enough paper work to replant the rain forest and they asked for nothing but he got his Visa, so I was thinking of throwing a party! A celebration of not having to deal with the INS, The Jubilee buttttttttttt the World Cup!
Let me know if anyones interested.

Were do you get those smilies from??? I want some!!!
Can you get one with a certain red car breaking down?? lol
http//www.plauder-smilies.de/
they are here. Hope this link works grin
Yes the link worked but its in German?????
How do i get them on my mail?
Thank-you for the link though Ben grin
I use plauder-smilies and yes it's German but you don't need to understand the language to use them.
If you want an image in your post you surround the link with [img][/img].
In Plauder, if you click on the smiley you want to use you will see the full address comes up in a box at the bottom of the screen, called UBB-Code, copy and paste this into your post and it'll work.
This is called 'hotlinking'. As long as the website allows hotlinking (most free ones don't) you can do it with any graphic (.gif's and .jpg's normally)
The squishy squashy hugs one I used is on a freebie webspace I use for hotlinking images.
If you see Smilies you like on your travels you can save them to your own webspace (the one your ISP gives you should also allow hotlinking) and use them the same.
i.e. if your webspace was
http://somebodyspage.ISP.com and the smiley you uploaded to the root directory was called smiley.gif, then to display it in a post type
That's about it.
Use Google and you'll find zillions of smilies.
Peace
Richie

Karyn,
I shall be there!
At last, a social life...!!!!
cool
Richie, you need to disable BBcode for such messages smile For those who wish to know what Richie was telling you to type, click "reply with quote" on his message, and the code will appear in the quote.
I understand why this thread has been moved to get-togethers, but wonder if it really counts as such as no place has been mentioned yet? lol Come on Karyn, tell us where?
Glad you asked that question as I was wondering where it was too? grin
