Hi everyone,
i'm Rach, spent my first 22 years living in obscure villages and hamlets in Gloucestershire, but as of a couple of months ago, living in Gatineau (the Québec side of Ottawa). I moved here after finishing my degree (hurrah!) to live with my lovely French-Canadian hubby, who i married in November (05).
I really like Canada, but.... I miss Brits and Britain, and am feeling a smidgen lost as a (postponed!) newlywed, living on the 'other side' of the pond, in a different language, with no mates! still got a couple of months before I get my permanent residency, so atm learning French and wondering where to find a decent pub, preferably one that serves a cider other than Strongbow *yeuch... where's the scrumpy!?*
