Hello. I'm a British woman living in the Kobe-Osaka conurbation in Japan, married to a Japanese. I've been here on and off for a couple of years.
I'm from the Eastend of London (my user name gives that away) and was a nurse.
I like football - any Millwall supporters out there? Japan's a pretty cool place to live but it does have it's frustrations and I do get homesick.
There's a lot of gaijin (foreigners) in this part of the world but I've yet to meet any compatriates. I do miss a PROPER conversation in English. And food. And telly. And clothes and shoes that fit. I feel like Gulliver here sometimes!
