what are your guy's favorite types of car?
i'll go with the acura legend... I bought one for 2.5k w/ 115 miles, and its in MINT condition.
I have a infinity G20 its old 1991 and the model is not even being made now .

We have another car which gets the use at weekends, vacation and such .
The infinity is used by me to go to city meeting and trips to home depot , doctor and shopping trips during the week and thats about it , it has just about 70thou mls on it. it passes the annual inspection every year without a problem, I have have it serviced and oil changed as per schedule every year .
I love it the best car ive had dont really like to part with it .
It shows no sign of rust

i thought about trading it in this year but looked at the increase in insurance , payments , tax etc and decided it wasnt worth it for a second car that sits in the garage most of the time .

At least one of the windows doesnt work correctly *its very slow * so i decided to have the car completly overhauled the seats are getting split *leather does that when it sits in the sun * and have them replaced and have a complete body paint spray , and lots of other minor things . the cost at first extimate for all of the work would be in the $1800/ 2500 range . it would give me a servicable 2nd car , with some propect of becoming a classic, save on tax , and payments on new car and allow us more flexablity in our limited resourses to trade in Melanie's car at the end of the year for a new model we are thinking nisson , infiniti , or lexus
I just made the last payment on my car (2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT1) and figured I'd trade it or sell it before or around this point.

Trouble is, it is has been very reliable, fun and practical and still looks and drives nicely so I think it would be silly to ditch it at this point. I was thinking of getting a Chrysler 300M or Dodge Charger which I quite like and are basically the same car but instead, I'll probably drive this car for a few thousand more miles and enjoy the extra few hundred a month.
my favorite car was an Audi A4, which I have just had to trade in to help get rid of a truck we cannot fit into the garage. I loved that car, it handled beautifully and had a high quakity interior, and Audi would not let you change the oil less than every 10,000 miles, which was very sensible. As soon as I can, I will get another one.
My favourite car was my 1968 Camaro RS, bought new in late '67
Before that, it was my Cortina GT although it was a buggar keeping the Webers in balance.

Since the Camaro it has been family transportation. I have been taking a look at the Saturn Sky.
Always had compact cars at present it's a 2001 Cavalier which has given us no problems.
But our favourite family car was a beautiful white 1961 Plymouth Belvedere. Ideal for driving down to Maine every summer. It had a realy smooth V8 and had push button Auto changer.
