Full Version: Deduct rental income against brit taxes?

So what if you go back to the uk, start earning pounds and have lets
say the equivalent of 80,000 POUNDS in taxes taken out at 40%.
But you have 40,000 income on your rental property in the usa. Can you get
away with not paying taxes on the income by deducting against taxes already paid in the UK? ps. you are both a us and uk citizen.

pps. if anyone can send a link to a NJ usa british expat accountant / financial advisor, it would be appreciated.
