Do mossies always bite me on the toes and fingers when there are many other options available?

Do the American drivers (the ones who understand the word "stop") feel that a 4-way stop sign means you have to stop and wait until someone else rolls up to see that they were there first before they move?

Is summer never the break you think it will be when you have children? (Competative Swim Mom Regards.....)

Is my MIL coming on Thursday when clearly I will not be ready.....
Toes and fingers are probably the parts you wash the best, either that or the blood vessels are closer to the surface therefore easier to get at.
What about the 2-way stop! Many like to pull up, stop, watch you approach then pull out in front of you.
Can't help you on 3 and 4.
So I just learned the best thing to stop mossie bites from itching.
Scotch tape - no kidding.
I was scratching them raw, but put some scotch tape on them and the itch was gone!!!
Amazing )

1. Mossies bite my arse so I can't help you there.
2. Americans are horrendously bad drivers.
3. Its all part of a conspiracy to make you realize for too late that it is all downhill
from age 11.
4. If your MIL is like mine who is due on Friday, you will never be ready and you will never get rid of that sick feeling on your stomach either.

I think the skeeters, get you on all exposed surfaces, it's just that some are more sensitive. I hated it in the back of the knee, Also, perhaps you are less likely to see them there and do them a mischief. They are attracted by CO2, does that help?

I watch the side roads at stop signs until I see that the driver is braking. I know that they should yield roght-of-way; if you rely on that, you can complain from your hospital bed.

You have children. You will never think you are ready.

If another car's nearly at the intersection, then of course you wait until you see tham slowing, but some people do it when they and the three cars behind them could have safely got through the junction before the car they are waiting for is even near enough to slow down.

I find four way stops quite simple. If you and another car arrive simultaneously, then you give way to the right.

Otherwise, I find it pretty easy to figure the order in which your "turn" is and go with that. At least you can tell which drivers are paying attention.

I have far more problems with drivers at traffic lights who either don't bother to signal and are not going straight or who are signalling up to the lights and then do go straight. There's not a lot you can do about those types.

you obviously havnt driven in texas . here they stop and if they are the 2nd or later car they feel they have the right to go before anyone waiting at the other intersections cus they have :already stopped: its a major traffic violation here and the cops dont give enought tickets for it to be a "dont do "

Your first statement of course is the :rule of the road : in most states but then you have the problem of the natives knowing what is left and right .

What happens if the car is opposite?

wave at each other frantically until one of you goes first.

That is so true John and it drives me crazy, especially when you honk at them (or throw your arms in the air as I usually do in disgust) and they give you the look thats says"what I have done"

Basically!

You could also modify the "overly polite driver" syndrome and rather than not go when it is clearly your turn, you just approach the Stop line a bit slower and let the other car stop first, thus handing them their turn and avoiding any misunderstandings - unless they're Texans I guess.
