It's quite US biased but after living in Texas for 6 months I realise I'm not alone in some of the emotions, difficulties and general misunderstandings that ocuur when moving abroad.

I hope other new comers find it helpful and amusing.

Thanks for the tip! I'll forward this to my husband - I'm sure it will enlighten him, or at the very least amuse him! We've been in the U.S. for 4 months, but it has flown by, and we're still sorting ourselves out in the employment, accomodation, and schooling departments. Food, too, come to think of it.
