wow - i figured he was going to be one of those people that would always be around - not that he's done much in the last thirty-five years. I remember when somebody tried to play me the Dark side of the Moon album, telling me it was floyd - and i'm going - what are you talking about? Piper at the Gates of Dawn blah blah - sids own solo career never really got underway but what there is of it is the stuff of Legend. Music is an ever changing art form that supports outsiders like sid - sad to see that he's snuffed it - look at the drug addled rock stars we have to cope with these days(and the healthy ones!!!!), pretentious little twits throwing temper tantrums etc..

One of the saddest casualties of the 60's drugs/rock era. Surely to have gone like Keith Moon was better.
