The sentence in this case is disgusting. The ignorance and arrogance of this couple makes my blood boil. The poor child, an innocent, was abused and died of her injuries and these people have had little more than a slap on the butt as their punishment. Has the world gone completely crazy ?
As a child advocate I have seen and heard so much that unfortuantly now nothing really surprises me. The group I work with really push for parenting classes but a lot of times these have to be court ordered and by that time damage has already been done to a lot of the children we are trying to help. Let's hope this couple never have another child they can abuse and torture evil

Seems to me its a ongoing lenaincy problem theres to much focus on the * crininals rights * and a obscene neglect of the * victims rights * ' we will never get a crime free society while the perpertrators of crime get let of lightly cus in the pc world it appears whatever they do somehow or other society is to blame .

Someone else must have seen what was happening to this child. There are other guilty parties to this horrendous crime. People that do not report suspected child abuse are almost as bad as the abusers. She should have been taken from the parents, parental rights should have been terminated and she should have been put up for adoption. An innocent child does not deserve to die, thats what adults are here for to protect them.

I don't understand why neither one of them were given jail time?
How a person manages to break a 4 month olds fingers is just beyond belief. I also don't understand how the child was admitted to hospital prior to her death and yet allowed to go back home to this creeps.
