best game ive seen so far not to many fouls , yelllow cards , fake tumbles etc and game was -played very fast one end to the other .

I thought it was a pretty good game too, not as many stupid fouls and the refereeing seemed better.
The germans being eliminated in the 29th minute of extra time was just awesome wink

Best commentator comment was "Gennaro Gattuso on the ball...Gennaro in English, in case you didn't know, translates to "another great challenege from"."

Great game. That first goal though....well taken though it was, that Italian shouldn't have been left unmarked in the area for so long. He was standing there for about half an hour before the ball came to him.

Yeah it was junior school defending, FOUR German defenders chased after the ball as it left the box, at least one or two defenders left the scorer unmarked. Hideous. The second goal was obviously going to happen with such a late goal, the Germans had no choice but to pile forward.

I think that both sides were tired when the first goal went in, it gave the Italians a mental lift, and made the Germans feel even more tired. Let's face it, anyone would feel more tired if they were scored on in the last couple of minutes of an overtime game; 120 minutes is a long time to play, especially since you lay it all down to try to win in regulation, and then find extra for overtime.
