Ron Gonzales, San Jose's mayor, has been charged criminally over the Nor-Cal recycling fiasco, where he took citizens money, as though it were petty cash, and paid it to his pals with the recycling company.
Personally I don't give a rat's ass. He lost my allegiance when he dumped his wife of blahblah years and took up with a supposed trophy gal,( a check your dog show applicant)
But it's nice to see democracy in action. I liked this lady, Susan Hammer, don't know which party she was, but she got things done. Reminded me of my old P.E. teachers when I met her.
I hope thats not not his trophy wife otherwise you'd better to check his guide-dog license.

John, I think you'll find they both give to their friends. For a start, there's no-bid contracts, not to mention the various kickbacks and bungs that do the rounds.
To blindly follow any party is stupidity and especially so in the US - to the outsider looking in, there is very little, real difference between either of the two and it's a wonder they even bother with the pretense sometimes.
