Great 2nd half to this game or rather great last seven minutes for Australia.

Japan's "goal" though reminded me of the Harry Enfield Television Show where he had Arsenal of the 1920's against Liverpool of the early '90's. So much for overly protecting the goalkeeper.

Should never have been a goal (attacker charged into the keeper, so a pumped pass went into the goal, beyond the reach of Schwarzer in goal) but I suppose justice was done in the end.

Time for a quick spot of breakfast and then back to the TV for USA vs. Czech Republic. Haven't missed any games yet and probably won't until next Monday when I'll be at work (boo!) I could get used to this!

Lucky you!

I am trying to watch the USA/Czech game on a very old TV we have in the office that only picks up local channels. I'm tuned into the local Mexican channel. It's a snowy picture and I can't understand (except for the goal and the odd "Brian McBride!).

Not looking so good.........

Me neither. Theres a certain benefit to telecommuting and having an home office with a TV in. The only problem is conference calls where I have to watch with the volume down.

Respect!

Anyone who is not by a TV and is able to install it, get TVUPlayer. Watched USA-Czech earlier and now watching Italy-Ghana. Pretty good quality.
