For Brits living in countries which may not offer great coverage of the World Cup, or for those of us who would just prefer to watch British coverage of the matches instead of the local fare, does anyone have any experience or advice for watching games live over the Internet?

I know some stations offer live streaming, but I'm not sure which and I'm not sure how you go about accessing them, so if any of you do anything similar for Premiership games or the like, please enlighten the rest of us - and I'd especially like to hear from fellow Mac users here - as to where to go to access/subscribe to the games and what software we need to use to watch them. Thanks! )

I could suggest moving to Canada, which every game is broadcast in HD with British commentary, but that wouldn't be too helpful.

Try these links

Unfortunately, the commentary is mostly all in Chinese.
Thanks Scramble, I'll give those a try )
Live World Cup over the Internet in the USA at least, YES!!

EPSN are showing the games via ESPN360.

I think they will only be showing the games that they are covering, i.e. not the games that ABC are showing. Hey its better than nothing!

go to-

http//www.espn360.com

The only thing is your ISP needs to be an affiliate.

Well it costs nothing to try...

John,

Agreed its easy to watch when you are at home, when you are at work its a little trickier....

Not that I encourage anyone to use their Employers Internet Bandwidth to keep up with whats going on in the World Cup ;-)
