Have you joined Napster or another legal music download site?
Did you join a US or a UK version?
If you join one do you get access to the other?

Is there another, better place to download music from the UK charts as well as US music?

I am about to invest in an MP3 player and would like to know in advance whether or not I can get hold of the tracks I want. Most of them are old British songs and therefore are less likely to be found in US music collections. Napster UK has what I want - at a price (9.95 sterling per month), whereas Napster US is $9.95 per month.

I don't really get it. ???
Used Napster a few years ago... grabbed a few songs, but so much traffic...... decided instead to look up the music CD's the library system here has to offer........... now I am known personally by name when I walk into the library... not the greatest for new stuff, always a bit of a wait, but some oldies.. just takes a few days.. and you get the whole CD......guess it depends on what you want, how long you want to wait etc........
I use iTunes. It is ok but a bit limited on occasions.

I quite like the a la carte system though - just buying one or a few tracks from an album instead of the whole thing although some albums are forced upon you whole. Also, the quality of tracks varies way too much - I think when you are paying money for them, they should reach a certain standard at least but I've downloaded radio shows, sold as CDs in UK, that sounded like they'd been recorded off the radio on a cheap recorder.

Napster in the old days was great though. Not tried it since it went all legit.
I use Itunes, just because I have an Ipod, I have downloaded precisely 1 album. I need some new music so maybe I will revisit that, I am out of touch at the moment. Are Wizzard still popular?
