Hi Britnet folks,
I've been busy lately and got no internet connection at home. I was wondering how you are all doing. I'll check up on all your posts sometime.
I've been back in UK about 3 weeks now. Living back in my old flat. Started my new job. Mrs CR is in Italy. I've been going back and forth between there and here a bit. Our baby will be here any day now. I'll be off on paternity leave..
Life in London is good so far. I'll tell you all about about it when I get a spare minute.
Basically it's all pucker!

Nice to hear from you, glad it's all going swimmingly!

I got a weeks "Paternity Leave" when my Son was born, in fact my company were very nice about it, as he was in NICU for the first six weeks (he was 8 weeks early) and let me take it when he got to go home.
obviously YMMV.
Oh yes, good luck!!
thats it, I'm homesick....again !!!
Great to hear from you, I'm glad things are good.
Good luck CR.Have you seen anyone we know yet? 8)
Keep us informed and how things are going.
Eastend boy I am off home in a couple of weeks do you want me to bring anything back lol.
You lucky wotsit! Can't wait for baby news, I hope Britnet is high on your "must be contacted as soon as baby arrives" list. So exciting, you must feel like your life has been a whirlwind this last few months - trust me it only gets better once the baby arrives.
Hi all,
Baby Gemma arrived yesterday at 7.30am Italian time. She weighed in at 3.75 kilos which is about 8lbs in English money.
Mother and baby doing well. As it was a ceasarian I'm heading to Italy on Saturday the day before Mrs CR gets out of hospital for my two weeks leave. Shame I couldn't be there but this was the best option for us - I was only allowed to visit a couple of hours a day at the hospital . We thought I'd be more useful when she gets out.
They are being well looked after by Mrs CR's family. I'm being left to my own devices. This is my only photo.
Unlike most modern dads - I slept through the entire thing while in another country. I learned I was a father by text message. I spent yesterday afternoon with my new work colleagues in a pub smoking Henri Winterman cigars and drinking cider (the UK kind with alcohol not apple juice).
I've sobered up and tonight I'm off to buy a cot and a few other bits and bobs..
Congratulations Daddy! mrgreen mrgreen
Beautiful baby. Glad mum and babe are ok and I bet you can't wait to get to see them both.
She is beautiful.
Congratulations to you all and enjoy your reuniting on Saturday )
Congatulations mate, I would smoke a cigar if I was allowed, but I will have a drink later on to "wet the baby's head".
