I've been here for a week now and having a fantastic time. Living on take-a-ways and pot noodles and copious amounts of stella. everyone is really friendly and the local barmaid was particularly so last Saturday night. weather has been brilliant, tv super fantastic, been pissed up every night, you can smoke in pubs. Already bought 3 football shirts, an england duvet cover and pillowcase, plus tons of other england stuff.
got 4 old girlfriends to see later so i should get a result with at least a couple. got to sign off now as its 1130am and time for a kent corker and 3 or 4 pints of stella. can't get on with the small caps button on the keyboard though. evil
So, are you coming back or staying there for good?
You've just reminded me - need to order the England stuff from mum grin

Who would spend money on England stuff if they were actually going to live there?
The question in my mind is................are Moo and Mr Bungle really the same person shock shock
I think there's far less chance that I would have a venereal disease than Moo. Or be proud of it.

Why bother, they're going to lose (it's why I find these World Cup songs so hilarious "We're going to win the cup" - yeah right...)
See Moo just confirmed by "British Values" statement...

Never a Truer word said, I bought stuff for me and my son that I would not have had either of us seen dead in over there!

 OK, you got me there. And very true of course.
McZ, it doesn't matter that they lose, it is the sportsmanship that counts. And the fact that I can join in with the soccer crazed South Americans here

Fight Club springs to mind...
must admit I m looking forward to going home on Thurs. its all been a bit tiring even for me, too much stella and late nights thanks to the later opening hours. But I pulled the barmaid down the local but got a bit embarrassed when she asked me to help her with sociology A-level, but I suppose you got to help when you can.
Back in Canadia now and I'm looking forward to a well deserved rest. There's only so much tikka masala, kebabs and bacon sarnies one can take.
Had a result with the duty free. They do B&H's in 1000 packs at the airport. So now I've got 2000 cigs to keep through the next 3 months or so.
I've only been in my apartment two days and I'm already in trouble with the condo board for hanging my England flag off my balcony. I suggested that the World Cup did offer mitigating circumstances, but to no avail, the bastards made me take it down.
Apparently they don't even allow real Christmas trees in the building. What a bunch of Nazis.
Most well run condos are the same.
We live in a condo and accept that most restrictions are for the common good. Balconies can get pretty trashy if left to individual tastes and can bring down the value of your property. Real Christmas trees present two problems. 1 the potential mess in corridors and elevators and 2 the fire hazard.
Anyway do you think anyone will no of or care about the World Cup in your condo.

They will when I have the lads over.
Yea Moo I just got back from the UK. Got me English shirts 70% off.
