...in the mail the other day.
My computer. grin My wife mailed it to me. I'll be back online in my own home before you know it.
Oddly the only requests she made for me to send were Twiglets, a Double Decker and a packet of pork scratchings. I offered photos, regional delicacies, cultural pamphlets and guides, but no - she wants pig fat. lol
She will do well here....
Funny, Twiglets and Double Deckers are two of the things I miss most from the snack rack...
Dude, even I'd take fried pigskin over "Cultural Pamphlets and Guides" and "Regional Delicacies" and I freaking hate pork scratchings. Food should not have hair on it.
/Sheep eyeballs are a regional delicacy

You've got a good wifey there Bungle. Firstly she recognises your need for computer and secondly, well, she's with you and she'll eat pig fat roll lol
Are you going to have to get someone to change the voltage on your computer? Just wondered how that works!!

If it's anything like mine there's a little red toggle switch that goes from 240v to 120v.
Yeah it has that right under where the plug goes in at the back. Just stick a pen in the hole and slide it over and voila, it now works in the UK. So after doing all the daytime crap I can sit in my room and type emails I'll send later, play Fifa 2006 and GTA3, and play with Access.
Glad you got your comp, bungle - nice to see you back on here. Hope everything is going as planned for you. smile

mmmm How about a Mac??
Thanks VRB. I guess mine needs a transformer and my husbands has a switch. Not that we plan a move anytime soon, but we keep the original boxes just incase!
roll now playing with access is strange lol.
I used my Powerbook over in UK last summer and it just needed a plug converter from 2 pin to 3 pin.
