We used Bishops Move to transport our goods from the UK to Australia. The whole thing has turned into a complete fiasco. They collected our goods in January, damaging a hardwood floor in our home in the process. The goods sat for almost 6 weeks in storage before being loaded into a container. On arrival in Australia the outside of the container had to be steam cleaned and we were billed for it! 13 weeks on and we still have not received our goods, throughout the process the communication has been dire and the company refuse to take any responsibility for the issues. Can't wait to see the condition of our stuff. I would not recommend anyone using Bishops Move!
cry
damn, I hope you were well insured?
We're insured for damage to our goods but not for the delay - the only way to recoup costs will be to find something "really valuable" damaged and make a claim.......if you get my meaning. Only way for us to get back at them is to warn potential customers away, if you know any other sites to post this let me know.
Sorry to hear that, we had a moving company as well, can't remember the name, but I will post the name later. Anyway, they promised and wrote on the contract that they were going to provide bubble wrapping and loosefill packing material. Once they got to my house in England, they didn't have the bubble wrap, they were going to move fine bone china (a wedding gift, dinner set) from the U.K. to here on a boat, therefore I said none of my stuff was going to be packed and the agreement on the contract was to use bubble wrap, we had paid for it!

In the end I went to a store in Burgess Hill and bought all the material and payed less on the bill in the end.

Hope you sort it out soon...
