Stretchered off vs Chelsea.

With Owen still a doubt is it worth going to the World Cup? sad

Still time for Jon Stead to get that England call up ...
YES heard that on the radio it looks very serious according to the commentators .

( see post below )

hope he recovers or England are doomed .......
Who know's now? We are not exactly blessed with talent in that area. I suggest, Robbie Fowler. I know he is getting on a bit though.
Well Defoe will be smiling just a litte bit right now. If Owen and Rooney didn't go then it'd be Defoe, Crouch, and Bent for sure.
It will be one of the above mentioned.
Rooney has a broken leg at least 6 weeks recovery time .

Hey relax John its not that big a mistake
The-foot-bone's-con-nected-to-the-leg-bone

Just fucking great isn't it. I'd booked my days off work for the England games. Not going to bother now. I'm turning brazilian.
He'll play, they'll get him fit....if not for the group games, for the second round. He can sit on the bench and be used if needed. Even if he isn't ready, someone will step up and deliver the goods.....there's always surprises.
Maybe the goalden boot for Aaron Lennon -)
As someone said on Premiership Live (Sirius footy coverage) yesterday, Gerrard can fill the Rooney void. He has all the power and skill. Where he lacks, he has other advantages too. Rooney is a big loss but our World Cup is not over yet.
