Was just browsing today and I realized I never did one of these! Ahh well better late than never….. roll
OK, well if you have not guessed David is my actual name. mrgreen
Before coming to the US, I lived in Manchester and Chorley in Lancashire respectively.
Moved over in September 1997, back in the days when you had to work for your Resident Status, No Same Day filing for me, we got married in November 1997. I finally got my Green card in February 2002 (A whole story in itself).
Lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex ever since I moved, although work has enabled me to travel all over the US. Currently live in Grapevine with my wife and now 5 year old son, I cannot believe he will be starting school soon!!!
Currently work for Verizon in their Fiber Optic to the Home, High speed Internet and TV all that fun stuff…
Interests, Cars, Cars and more cars, I own two Jaguars (you think I would know better) and am a member of the local Jaguar club as the “Token Brit” and computers/gadgets (the geek in me I am afraid), Formula 1 and any Motorsport not on an oval/round racetrack.
I tend to be on and off on Britnet depending on what happening with my life, having said that the past 2-3 years have been more “off” than “on”.
That’s enough I think, hey it took me 4 years to think up this.
