Well, Alan Moore went as far as having his name not only removed from the Film, but from the novel itself so that now it just says "Illustrated by David Lloyd", but then by all accounts he's a bit of a nutter. As for the film, it was a bit of a mess, and thats without Nathalie Portmans stupid accent. anybody else seen this/read the book/know what i'm talking about? I guess when they decide to adapt comics into movies alot of studio types get very nervous, i mean, From Hell was pretty good, more weird accents but its such a well known story that it would have been hard for studio execs to turn it down. But V is so close to the edge its a wonder it got made at all, terrorists/anarchists etc.
Next up is the Watchmen movie.. we can only hope the good stuff will outweigh the bad.
Ho Hum..
Is it a good film?

As a book, V for Vendetta is utterly wonderful and everybody should read it. But Alan Moore's writing really hasn't translated on screen yet, which is a shame. He writes great stuff - but I am looking forward to V. Nice to see a 20 year old comic book stir up so much fake outrage.

/votes for a Miracleman movie
Saw V a couple of weeks ago, An entertaining but not great movie. Prefered Inside Man.
Yep, i saw this and thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw Inside Man full of great performances but the movie was a bit empty, a bit of "is that it?
