Where is the best place to live, I'm considering leaving the UK.
I feel this country is finished, to cold most of the time.
I love the sun, not to hot though !

That's a very vague question and impossible to answer.
It is such a personal opinion depending on yourlikes and dislikes and what you are willing to compromise on.

One thing I would think about first is what country you are going to.
This will determine your next step and what qualifications and visa requirements you may or may not need to reside in your country of choice.

I thought about the USA or Aus.
But I do not like it to cold like here in the UK.
I got married in Boston(to an english woman) but it gets to cold there.

South of France or Portugal.

Brazil is warm this time of year.

If I didn't live here, I'd quite fancy Spain.

Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, the north africa med coast.

Easy.....Malaysia.

English Law
Active expat retirement scheme (Malaysia My Second Home)
We have beachfront land and units available at great prices
We think it's paradise

It has it's frustrations like everywhere else but I loved it.

If you don't like cold, keep well clear of a good 2/3 of the US for the winter months. The rest has earthquakes and hurricanes. Take yer pick.

The real answer Click your red shoes together and say "there's no place like home". Anywhere you go will have frustrations, and probably more than you are familiar with.

Go live somewhere in the European Union for a while and see how being an expat suits you. No extra expenses or hassles like Visas and stuff, just up and leave like you were moving across country.

Of course it depends what languages you speak too. Don't expect everyone to speak English if you live in their country.

Virgina or Carolina's would be on my short list.

No, no don't come here, Virginia SUCKS. People are rude and don't get me started. I agree with Monster. I live here and hate it. I would pick Australia. Nice people, nice weather. In Europe, Portugal,Spain or Italy. Forget France! :wink:
