British Expatriate Network

with Daniel Day Lewis, who for some odd reason I don't care for. However he's such a good actor I soon forgot who he was. Hadn't seen the movie for ages, but little Juliet Brioche and the other main female who played Sabina made the movie fabulous. The tanks rolling in was astonishing and kind of current.
A great movie on two discs available from Netflix for those who missed it the first time round. Mind the novel's pretty damn good. grin

The book was pretty good. I never saw the movie yet though.

I read the book a long time ago and I seem to remember seeing a film made of one of Kundera's books and I think that was it. Films are never as good as books I think.
