Hey, thanks for the replies ) My wife used to live in England (hated the cold, dark winters, haha) and eventually persuaded me to come over here. Being in the computing field, I was hesistant to go to Hawaii as it's mainly tourism here (and Hawai is doing very well at the moment!). But got lucky so decided to stay.
Because being English here is a bit of a rarity, people either find it very interesting or a bit strange ... or as with everywhere else 'are you Australian' ?? D
How long has everyone else been in the USA and do you miss the UK much?!

Ive been here over 16 years and i don't miss the UK at all.
I do miss my family and friends but we keep in touch through IM, webcam,VOIP and phone, even the occasional letter.
