A US employer in the computer industry has made me a serious offer and badly wants me to work there. However
The position is full-time and permanent, but not overly senior as the expectation is for me to be promoted into a position opening up in the future.
They've never hired anyone from outside the US before.
My degree is not computer-related
I don't have 12 years relevant work experience (given I'm 31)
As I understand it the options are for an H1, H2 or H3 visa.
Does anyone have an idea on which might be the best route, the details on the H3 (as I can't ifnd much about it) and whether an H3 can be converted after x months in the position.
