Does anyone know where to buy Englisgh light bulbs? Either online or in new york. Alternatively does anyone know how to get lamps re-wired to be used in the US. At the moment we are using adapters but we only have a few light bulbs.
Help appreciated ?
Hi lolly21q, welcome.

I don't know where to get British type bulbs. If you have to pay someone else to rewire your lamps, it would probably be no more expensive to buy new ones.

f you are handy and can DIY, you can get the parts and wire from many hardware stores.
Home Depot sell wiring stuff to make your own lamps. It's quite easy so you shouldn't have a problem. and from what I remember the stuff isn't expensive.
This is what Better Homes and Gardens says about this... Dead easy to do to. You can get kits at Target.

/you must really like your lamps
Also some specialty lighting stores sell adapters for your light bulbs. But i'm not aware of an online source, it might be worth googling.
