You'd buy . . . ?
A ticket out of here!
If you had a million dollars I'd buy nothing. But if I had a million dollars, I'd buy a house in the UK, give this one a complete makeover and save the rest for upkeep and maintenance.
If I did (rather than you ;) ) I would do something similar to KG and buy a home in the UK. I'd pay off my sister's mortgage, pay off my own mortgage, be careful which charities I would donate to, and put the rest in the bank for the kids when they are old enough to realise the value of money.
I presume you mean an additional million roll lol

I'd buy some stock.
...a small island where I would be king and make my own laws up as I go along.....No, not really but it's a nice thought. I'd pay off all debts, house etc, 2 new cars (nothing fancy), maybe a nice holiday and save the rest for retirement.

Wow, just like president Bush?

I'd invest it for a few years and then think about it when I had $10,000,000

yes, except mine would be a small sparcely populated tropical paradise kind of island.

...would hardly notice it........

P
They say you need at least $4 mil to class yourself as rich, and in this part of the States it would buy me a small 3 bedroom with a shed so, err not much!!! shock

I'm not saying I wouldn't be glad of it.. Bring it on!!! grin
That's the thing, it's not really a lot of money..............says she in a little house, driving a ford etc............

I'd like to have a go at investing it wisely and making more so I could really be financially independent.
I'd buy a compound out in the desert and live off the grid in a solar-powered eco-sensitive place with an artesian well, a room-size humidor and a garage full of hot rods.
