Sorry, but I just don't get why he's so popular. Saw him on the Ellen DeGeneres show last night and was completely underwhelmed. Apparently he's now top of the US Billboard charts.

I'd never heard of him until someone, Goose, I think, posted a link to a video with his music. he won some award, something. I liked that song with the video, almost made me homesick( twisted ) but I've since seen pictures of him, and so, like you am wondering about the fuss.

Yeah - he made the same video as Coldplay's "Yellow" and people went nuts. Then people got the album and made a mental note to never buy anything because the radio said to. Bland, average samey samey stuff really.
