For those of you who listen to such things as the news quiz and radio 4 in general, Linda Smith, a great comedian, died yesterday of ovarian cancer. A great loss, a great woman.

Tonights news quiz is a tribute to Linda's past work on the show, and it's funny, tea spitting funny. grin

How sad.

I didn't know what she looked like until today when I saw that she had died but she was very witty when they had her on one of my favourite shows "Just A Minute", on Radio 4. sad

Ive never seen her either. I remember her from The News Quiz and also Sorry I Haven't A Clue. Thats such a shame :sad:
