assuming we get an h1-b what is the process of actually moving,
will we get notification months in advance????
i think i read you only have 10 days either side to move,
we've been gunning to get the application in on april 1st but don't know what happens after that,
also, our lawyer is not sure whether it will be ready as we didn't know about another visa screen we needed, what do you think the cut-off day will be to submit an application for a start in october this year????

It looks to me like those are all questions your lawyer ought to be able to answer. There is probably documentation, either on the USCIS website, or with the actual visa, which tells you if there is a time restriction. I don't recall there being any for us, but I have a memory like a sieve, so I could be wrong.
