Hi there, my wife has a good friend living in Tucson.
hello and welcome
Welcome to BritNet
Hi there,

On my father's side of the family, there's a story that they used to own a farm in Ayrshire (I'm from Stirlingshire) way back, which was called Sh*tterflats. To be honest, I think it still exists. Pretty sure it was a dairy farm - it kind of would have to be with a name like that....... lol
Welcome leave your clothing at the door
A interrogater will be with you shortly .. JJ smile smile
Hi, Ayrshiree. Welcome to Britnet! smile Like Fernietickles, I'm Scottish.... and also originally from Stirlingshire! razz
Ellie,

Fernie,

Orignally from Grangemouth. I see you're in WI; my husband is originally from WI - Minoqua (sp?) area. smile
When I was young and learning the job, I worked on the design of a refinery at Grangemouth, I think it was for Shell, but I'm not certain.
Did you know there used to be an airport at Grangemouth? It would have been a perfect sight to have a combined "Central Scotland" airport too. Ah well, I guess without the refineries, the aeroplanes wouldn't be able to fly.....
