W e have used this service for well over 2 years now and never have any problems with delivery true we wait for the *new movies * about 4 weeks on average but our general consumption is 9 -12 movies a month some arriving 2 days after the disc is put in the mail .
love the service A1 in our opinion .

How about you whats your take on the company ?

when I used them I was very pleased with their service and the choice of movies. I do not use them right now, because I am just not watching tv as much, but yes, if you're a movie buff I highly recommend them
I've not had any problems with them and was once watching about five movies a week.

Nowadays, we get four out at a time but only one is mine and I haven't got around to watching it for about 2 weeks now as I've been on the Xbox all the time.

Turnaround is usually very quick - often less than 48 hours.

I have been trialling Gamefly which is a video game equivalent of Netflix. They took a bit longer to ship (no local office like I have for Netflix, about 25 miles up the Interstate).

I can understand the throttling and those complaining - doesn't affect me a bit.

My biggest peeve with Netflix is that they don't check DVDs when they are returned so often, you'll get one that the previous borrower took no care of. Nothing more disappointing than a scratched up DVD when you sit down to enjoy it.

They should clean/resurface them if possible.
We have a one day turn around with the service. Well we should, they're just up the road, although they did try supplying us from another depot, but only once. We haven't been throttled, and when they did get slow on sending movies out we wrote them and said if they couldn't keep up the standard we'd be willing to switch to another provider if we were too much trouble. No probs. Loads of apologies, we average about 3 a week, which says a lot for what the TV has on it. Loads of nothingness.
I suppose as I'm one of those people that always has huge library book fines that this service isn't for me.

Besides I have HBO and on the offchance there's something I really want to see I still go to Blockbuster.

Au contaire I'd've thought. There are no late fees.

Thats a problem sometimes ,but i check them and clean them before playing i also run a dvd cleaner though the machine after each batch of movies .

Did get a wrong title once so they gave me a extra movie to use when ever I wanted

dont play video games to habit forming .

we've recently started using this service - as you know we only came back to the US last year. We are getting great service from Netflix, its the mail service that takes it's time here. Still we don't watch that much telly and we have 200 of our own dvd's to watch if they don't arrive in time.
