Just got my tickets for Dave Gilmour at Radio city for April 4th mrgreen mrgreen
I see the scouts are selling front row seats at a grand a pop!! We're four rows back and paid a lot less, got them within 20 minutes of the release! grin

What was the name of Pink Floyd's drummer? Nick something or other. I remember he had a ton of Ferraris.
I'd probably blow my money on something like that too, in his shoes.
I saw them live on TV once in a concert and they had some young session drummer. Don't know his name but he was really good and was having a great time, with spinning the drumsticks as he played - most impressive, I thought.
The main drummer is Nick Mason, the session dude is a guy called Guy Pratt, who is vaguely related to a friend of mine back in the UK. Never met him though and he never hooked up my mate with any Floyd freebies either.
/Nick Mason also just put out a book about the history of Floyd with lots of pretty pictures and glossing over drug problems.

I looked up Guy Pratt - not him. It says he was the bass session dude.
Found the drummer on Wikipedia - says his name is Gary Wallis and he trained at the London Symphony School of Music!

Nick is a car freak, he also races classic cars, but then he can afford to prang them!
Gilmour took over lead guitar/vocals when Syd barret left the band due to "mental health issues"! y'eh like self induced stooper! he still lives in Cambridge, saw him once in a pub, very self contained man these days! guess it's the only way he can stay on the path!
