I opted out of receiving credit card approval notices a couple of years back which was great, however now they are back.
The reason is that I use my home address for my side business so now they come addressed to the company (basically me with a DBA name).
I'm led to believe that a business cannot opt out so am currently sending the applications back in the postage paid envelopes, minus anything identifying me and with the addition of whatever garbage comes to hand.
Anyway, it would be better for all parties if I just stopped getting the junk mail. I don't much care for this automatic opt-in garbage and feel perfectly capable of choosing my own credit sources, without the need for some company to shove it in my face on a twice-weekly basis.
Does anyone know of a way to stop these coming to a business?
