Do you ever see any interesting sea life McZ?

When I went to South Africa the one thing that blew me away was that every day practically we saw a school of dolphins in the water.

Ya just don't see that on Trabarwith Strand.

Yes....

Most of the time, oddly enough, I haven't had my camera with me, or we have just been driving along the coast and they're just too far out to even bother taking a picture, but I have seen dolpins, whales and on one occasion at dusk a 'whitey" as they call them around these 'ere parts..

On a regular basis you'll see things like otters, sea lions, pelicans along with blue and white herons as well as egrets.

It's quite something living here, and just being able to walk and see so much.

Yer in the wrong place zipster, you should have been on the Thames, or whatever it is they call that river over here. Well, the river's over there, but the pronunciation over here makes me shudder.
Looks good though, mighty nippy up here in the valley. Guess you're a few comfort degrees above us smile

I loved living near the ocean! Lived on the Orkneys for 4 years 200 yds from the shore and would sit and watch those breakers driven ashore by 100mph winds.
