Hubby and I (both British) lived in Birmingham before we emmigrated to the US. If it is Birmingham UK you mean, you might also want to check out American Expats -I know a few of them are in the Birmingham area.

I'm from Erdington Birmingham,moved to Idaho so the wife could be closer to her family :grin:
I miss good old Brum :sad:

Welcome to Britnet! Visited Erdington a few times to see friends, but not a Brummie by origin. When did you emmigrate? We came here 5 years ago and Brum hasn't half changed since then!

Hi monster,
My wife is an American and wanted to move back to Idaho to be closer to her family and has my folks have past on it wasnt fair to keep her away from her family.
I'm a newby,I have only been here two years but have been to Idaho on and off since 2001.We now have a beautiful 5 month old baby boy,he is the apple of me eye,so I think we will be setting down roots,here or Washington.
The last time I was in Brum the city center had changed so much,that was in 2003.so I dont know what its like now,I seen some pic's of the new Bull ring on the net and that looks great.
