I've always doubted his integrity more than I've doubted his ability as a manager and that doubt was substantial. This latest episode just proves a point. I wish he would just go away.

Romour has it, he is said to have said that he will leave if he wins the world cup anyway. Laughable isn't it, the man actually thinks that he's in with a chance. He probably see's getting to the semi's as a results as well.

I truely believe that any one of the team members, even Rooney, could lead the current England team to the semi's, they could probably do it with no one in charge and picking their own positions. It takes a little extra something to win the competition, something that Sven has not got.
I'm not sure what the issue is because I've not seent he sport pages today yet but I've never thought that a foreign manager is ever a good idea for our national team. They'll never have the passion of an Englishman. I think a manager needs that passion to be really sucessful.

Imagine if England go to extra time in the semis. I'd be surpized if Sven even leaves the dug-out if only to blow kisses at Beckham (who's been picking the team since he became Captain) Sven communicates using telepathy. He'll probably be chatting up some bird during the penalty shoot-out too.

I wanted him sacked after the last world-cup for failing to motivate the team to beat a 10 man Brazil

What about when England play Sweden? Conflict of interest or what?
That's a bugger then if England have to actually win the World Cup, just to get rid of the useless Swede. Talk about a tall order!

Agree about the Brazil match in the last World Cup. I thought I was watching Wimbledon, circa 1991 but that's a bit insulting to Wimbledon's prior achievements.
'scuse my ignorance, what has he done this time?
He was set up by the News of the World - a journalist dressed as a rich Arab prince pretended he was going to buy AstonVilla and needed a new manager - SGE was keen to offer his servcies post world-cup and promised he could get Beckham to sign - amongst a few other things.

Question Why is he farting around in Dubai when he should be preparing for World Cup

Well, we've only got to endure him for 6 or so months. He's going to be well motivated for the world cup though. Sitting in his dug out dreaming on where to spend his compensatory pay off. Git.
At least wait till we get rolled over again in the QF before you call him a Git

Dont like how the odds are stacking up for his replacement thou. Sam is good but has no European experience for him to thrive at international level like all the brits offered up, that could be another Keegan all over again.

Whos your pick? I vote for Mark Hughes not that he is interested or has a cat in hells chance but he made his mistakes with Wales, going well with Blackburn right now and not to mention a fine playing career too. Oh and at least English is his first language
It's gotta be between Peter Crouch, Clive Woodward, and Ant & Dec.

I think the top four bookies favourites are Sam Allardyce, Steve McClaren, Alan Curbishly and Martin O'Neill. I rate all of them, O'Neill could be very interesting.
