Hey Everyone

Wow, I'm so glad to have found this site!! I would sooooo much like to hear from anyone who has emigrated to US from the UK. I hail from Scotland, but lived in Blyth, Northumberland for 15 years before I came here. I married someone from Alabama :wink: I've been here for 18 months now, and although I have made close friends, still sometimes feel a bit isolated. I still think of the UK as "home". I often have a longing for a digestive and a copy of Woman's Own :lol: And I must admit it came as a bit of a culture shock, I find Alabama a bit behind the UK in certain ways, more progressive in others. And wow, did the healthcare system come as a shock. Didn't fully appreciate the NHS while I lived in the UK, although I worked in it. Anyway, would love to hear from anyone who has emigrated to US from UK, or anyone who just wants to say hello.

I think it may be more than just a tad too big!! lol Have used MSN for while but new at this, guess you can tell!! lol I know I sound like dunce but don't know how to resize them on here!! Any suggestions appreciated!! Need someone to keep on the right track. Cool to meet people from all over world. Awww, what a sweet thing to do, I really, really appreciate it!! Most of the other replies made me feel downright stupid. It's a while since I've had to do anything challenging on computer, mostly I just use it for email and Messenger to my family back in UK. You were soo sweet to do this.
