Alabama, eh? You like to jump in a the deep end!!! But at least you don't have to shovel snow for half the year..... What part of Scotland are you from?

Galashiels in the Borders, but hey, shoveling snow is better than living in the Bible belt!! My dentist yesterday said I was a Scottish redneck!! And boy, if you don't like country music, you've had it!! lol
Tickled at reply, I can't respond as have no idea what hazing is, duh!! lol

When I saw sign outside chruch saying This Church Is Prayer Conditioned, I burst out laughing, which didn't go down too welll!! But hey, living in the Bible Belt isn't all bad.............has it's advantages, such as erm, ah, well anyway, sure it does grin
Stow, which is wee village near Galashiels, whereabouts are you from? Must say, Alabama just sooooooo not what I'm used to!! Used to laugh at all those Redneck jokes, now I'm living them!!! oooooooh, lol................the people have been very warm and welcoming, just sometimes need an interpreter for both them and me!!!

Is the Maltese Brtish too. Must be quite a culture shock for ' a wee dog' like that. Has s/he made friends with the local dogs of is s/he too cultured to go frolicking after racoons or whatever else dogs do down in alabama

Just got my site published but it's soooooooooooooo basic compared to everyone else's, anyway, it's scotinalabama.com
grin My Maltese american lol, I'm the only one in this house that isn't!! I've just got my site going scotinalabama.com but not been able to upload pics to main page and it looks soooooooo bad compared to everyone else's!! And yeah, Ollie vicious, lol, he could give you a really nasty nip on the ankle!! lol I think he's bilingual as I'm Scottish lol

I was in Alabama for a couple of months when I first came over - in the Shoals area. Beautiful place, but quite a culture shock! Have you been to one of the infamous "All you can eat" catfish restaurants yet? If you haven't then beware - I went and suffered for a couple of days afterwards. Catfish is not all they make it out to be!!!!
