Well here's my (simplified) workflow for backup (and as far as I"m concerned nothing is ever 100% but still). I catalog (keyword etc) as well but that would make this a long post...

Shoot
>Dump Images
>>Select and Cull Images
>>>Backup to FW Hard Drive1
>>>Backup to FW Hard Drive2

(by cloning the drive 1_

Unplug FW Drive 2> Move to fireproof safe in garage>

FW Drive 1 Full>
Stays at home
> Buy Another FW Drive

FW Drive 2 Full
>Move it to Bank

Repeat.

Without checking I have 2 or 3 Terabytes of hard drives stored..

All images on the drives have been saved as using Adobes DNG Converter (which compresses the image and saves it in such a way that in 20 years time it will be able to be opened - at least that's what they're telling me now....)
