What'yall doing?
I'm closet cleaning, a little work involving searching online sites for cash registars, Americans dont understand "tills", wrestling with excel spread sheets, and generally tidying up my bedroom. Haven't had a very exciting weekend, but still nice to wind down from one fractious work week.
Tuesday had me data bashing to well into the early hours with Bill, John's now convinced we are having an affair roll
Spent the weekend from 7am- 3pm, signing 400 odd kiddies into tryouts trying to dodge the rain showers. Only one parent was "off" with me as her sons time was screwed up.
Thought as I recapped the week building up to it, that was quite good lol

So where is everyone

I just here!. Not a very fruitful weekend in the main and I don't want to talk about most of it. And I'm peed off with myself for achieving so little over the holiday, but then again I did have fun doing nothing........ lol

Just taking the tree down and lighting a fire.

Back to school for all of them tomorrow. I can't wait!

Reading volume 1 of "The Walking Dead", watched "Revenge of the Sith" (and wished I hadn't), cooked pork chops and took an afternoon nap.

Well - I'm just sitting here with the laptop, as usual. Got in from a walk that I do every evening around the houses - for some exercise - which makes a change from the usual NONE that I've been getting recently.

We are in a terrible drought here right now (central OK). I could smell smoke at the end of our street but I it was just fireplace smoke. My hair stinks of it now.

I have a packet of Ritter Sport with hazelnuts waiting patiently on me in the cupboard........I can hear it calling my name.......

Apart from that.......I'm just here. Not much more I can say........ ???

Haven't done much this weekend at all.
Saturday we cleaned the church, did some grocery shopping, visited a couple of people and took a short ride on the 4 wheeler.
Today I had a chat on Skype with my brother in England, then did a lot of housework for my guy who was out fighting a fire then we came to myhouse where he napped and I dozed.
Very unproductive but nice.

Went out with friends last night (another Brit and her TX Husband). Today up in loft laying some boards down.

Doingvstuff up before we sell the place lol.

Well we just got back from Emily's first time out on a motorcross bike...

She did well today!

The Ducati <insert big engine and bright red machine of choice here> looks like it's comin' home...(along with a MX bike...)

Having cut back the rambling Lancashire rose to all but nowt, was totally unwilling to loose the blush trumpet vine, so dug it out of the oak barrel, a huge long twirly root, and with him indoors help, took it to the other side of the yard and dug a hole, stuck the root in, leaned the trellis against the fence and am hoping for the best.
Came indoors and watched the first Bourne movie.
Yesterday was a bust all round, but we survived.
January is an odd month, a new year, but it starts with the worst weather and the cold and everyone being gloomy.
Shouldn't new year start with sunshine and parties?
