Hi Everybody on the forum,

I am new to this forum and have joined initially to find some success stories grin from you British Expats living in CANADA. I have been searching for such stories on the internet without success. My family have applied for Canadian Immigration in May 2005 and are hoping it does not take an enormous length of time to process but in the meantime we wanted to hear from all of you who have made that Big Step and a successful transition to a new country and environment. I came to Canada in 1963 so that part of the experience is hardly comparable with today's immigrating. I took about 4 months from application to arriving in Ottawa. I have sent you a PM detailing our move to Canada back then.
